The Scotts Flat Lower Connector Trail project is delayed
The Nevada Irrigation District (NID) has postponed the adoption of the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the Scotts Flat Lower Connector Trail project.
The project is delayed pending further analysis of the Scotts Flat Dam spillway repair. The spillway access continues to remain open for pedestrian travel.
The trails NID provides at Scotts Flat and Rollins Lakes attract hikers and bicyclists from throughout the region. Trails help to cultivate a healthy community.
The adoption of the IS/MND will be considered by the District’s Board of Directors at a future date, yet to be determined.
NID is the Lead Agency for the Scotts Flat Lower Connector Trail Project. As such, the District has prepared the IS/MND.
