NID teamwork: restoring water during last week’s snowstorm
When the recent snowstorm knocked out power and water pressure in Cascade Shores, NID workers from several departments mobilized quickly in a race against the weather. Deep snow, a failed backup generator, and limited access turned a routine outage into a tough challenge, but staff worked late into the night, including towing equipment up icy roads, clearing access, and restoring emergency power. Their teamwork brought the system back online and water service back to customers, highlighting the dedication that keeps our community running.
