Thank you for your participation in last night’s first Plan for Water meeting. The level of community interest and contribution was fantastic! The District looks forward to moving ahead in this process and greatly anticipates your future insights and input.
NID believes planning how to manage our water resource is best served by teaming up and collaborating with a diverse set of water users and stakeholders like you. The Plan for Water process will develop strategic options that reflect a balanced mix of community perspectives and ultimately be an essential tool to guide the District’s water management into the future.
During the kick-off meeting, we had a number of requests for more information, specifically about the FERC licensing process and the Centennial Water Supply Project. Below are links to this information:
- FERC licensing
- Centennial Water Supply Project
- Presentation: NID’s Mountain System Overview of operations and facilities (from Nov. 9)
We also are posting these links on the Plan for Water webpage.
NID will routinely update the documents on this webpage, so you will have access to the most recent information.
Please don't forget to mark your calendars for the next scheduled meeting, planned for Tuesday December 7. Check the NID website for details regarding this workshop.
Again, thank you for your continued interest in the Plan for Water.
