NID Surplus Equipment for sale - 30" Knelson Concentrator

Specialized Sediment & Mercury Removal Equipment

The Nevada Irrigation District (NID) is offering specialized equipment used in the Combie Reservoir Sediment and Mercury Removal Project, an innovative project that combined sediment removal with centrifugal mercu-ry extraction.

Two major equipment systems are available for purchase individually or as a combined package:
• 30" Knelson Concentrator
• 12" Pegasus Hg Removal System

The equipment was part of a larger project that demonstrated methods for removing sediment and mercury from a mercury-impaired reservoir while meeting environmental and water-quality requirements.

Commercial-Scale Centrifugal Concentration

The 30-inch Knelson Concentrator is a stand-alone, commercial-scale centrifugal concentrator used as part of NID's mercury-removal process at Combie Reservoir.

The Combie Reservoir project used centrifugal extraction in combination with both dry mechanical excavation and suction dredging to remove mercury-impacted sediment from the reservoir.

The unit may be of interest to organizations involved in mineral processing, environmental remediation, sediment management, mercury removal, or related applications.

Additional specifications, equipment in-ventory, photographs, condition infor-mation, and inspection details available upon request.
