Loma Rica District Financed Waterline Extension Project
The Nevada Irrigation District's Board of Directors approved the Loma Rica DFWLE Project at the July 14, 2021, Board Meeting.
Construction of approximately 3,200 lf of 8-inch pipe, including 3 public fire hydrants, potentially serving a total of 20 parcels, began in early October 2021, and construction was completed, the pipe filled and operational on December 10, 2021. There is some remaining work to pave the laterals with chip-seal when the temperature is adequate. C & D Contractors of Grass Valley constructed the project.
