Harris Road DFWLE

This project is for the installation of approximately 3000 feet of 8-inch diameter treated waterline, three fire hydrants, and all appurtenances, to serve 34 parcels on Harris Lane and Bean Road in Auburn, CA.

The District's Board of Directors approved a construction contract with LaFleur Engineering, Inc. at the May 8, 2024, meeting.

Construction is scheduled to begin July 15, 2024, through October 31, 2024.

Construction Update:  July 26, 2024 – Rock was encountered Thursday and Friday which slowed down the excavation progress.  By the end of the work shift today (Friday), the road will be open to through traffic.  Construction will resume Monday at 2365 Bean Road moving in the direction of 2366 Bean Road with the traffic restrictions in place.

Construction Update:  July 24, 2024 - Excavation and installation of the main waterline will start Thursday, July 24, 2024.  Work will start at 2395 Bean Road.  If underground conditions allow, approximately 500 feet of waterline will be installed per day.  The District would appreciate it if non-residential traffic used alternative routes.  Signs will be posted for the temporary road closure.  Emergency services will have access.  Residents will be able to access their homes, however, we request that residents exit towards Mount Vernon Road until the mainline installation is past your access.
