Dutch Flat Forebay (elevation 3,336 feet)

Dutch Flat No. 2 Forebay is a tributary to the Bear River. The diversion is 77 feet high and 440 feet in length made of earth-rock. It has a storage of 185 acre-feet.

Nearby towns are Dutch Flat (1.25 miles) and Alta (1.74 miles).

The forebay is part of NID’s Yuba-Bear Hydroelectric Project. constructed in 1964-65 .
