NID Water Supply Updates: Damaged infrastructure repairs are being completed
Rollins Reservoir on Sept. 13, 2024 - 37 percent capacity available for consumptive use
Severe damage to infrastructure owned by Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) at Lake Spaulding has effectively cut off water supplies to NID throughout the year. Now, repairs are being completed and flows to NID foothill reservoirs are beginning.
The situation has been impacting deliveries to all NID customers (raw water and treated water customers in Nevada and Placer counties) and will have severe effects on lake levels and recreation opportunities this summer.
Nevada Irrigation District (the "District") is committed to ensuring that its services are accessible to all
