Seasonal Irrigation Service

Most irrigation water users purchase water for the summer irrigation season, which typically runs Apr. 15-Oct. 14. We also offer a fall service which runs from Oct. 15 - Dec. 1, and a winter service which runs from Oct. 15 - Apr. 14.

Call Customer Service to transfer an existing account and have an application sent to you. To open a new account or inquire about irrigation water availability, call NID and ask for our Operations Department or submit your address and parcel number for review using our Water Request Form.

Operations Dept. specialists will determine if water is available and if you will need to have a service box installed. Some canals are running at capacity and cannot serve new customers or supply increased amounts of water to existing cutomers. Irrigation water is a conditonal sale, based on water availability.

Frequently, customers will find that they must cross neighboring property to reach NID irrigation water supplies. In these cases, it is up to the customer to obtain the necessary easements and construct the conduit to obtain the water. NID will work with you on this.
